I am Desto, and my name means "awake." I was born in 1900 in Chioggia, a fishing village on the edge of the Venetian Lagoon.

My name is Dida Frane; I was named after a person who is a symbol of reminiscence, gratitude and love for our family.

120 years long tradition
The first ship that our grandfather and father Frane Cukrov started working with was called "Little Ante", and that was, just like in the story, a brave and decisive start. A whole century has passed from then sand extraction business until now. Grandpa Frane knew what persistent, dedicated work is, and our business today is built on that ground. Today's Destina was coined from the names of our two ships, Desto and Ina.

The Destina team today, in practice, responsibly promotes sustainable tourism based on nature conservation.
We emphasize the principles of activity without plastic and zero waste while preserving what is most valuable to us, the nature of this area. There are no plastic straws or bags on our excursions, and all food is served in glass and porcelain dishes. Instead of serviettes, we use hand-sewn linen napkins made of recycled material, enriched with hydrolats produced from traditional Dalmatian herbs. We use biodegradable paper, and there are recycling points on ships where we separate waste.

Excelent, beautiful day - boat tour Korneti National Park. Telascica -Salt Lake "MIr" is a quiet zone.
We had a great, nice day on that boat and we had opportunity to hike and swim in the salty lake and the beautiful crystal clear sea (which was the highlight of the day!). Personnel on the boat was very nice. Would recommand!
The trip was relaxing and there is so much to see in the national park, from clear sea to beautiful islands on the way. Truly amazing journey!!
Kornati are fascinating surrounding, to explore them with Destina travel was an unforgettable experience.
I went with my family this summer for a trip and we had a great time. The boat ride to the National Park Krka is interesting and you can se a lot, and the Krka Watrfalls are wonderful. On the boat we ate shells which are freshly cought and cooked and they were delicious.
